How Ordexs handles personal data

Ordexs provides commerce software for online sellers, including storefronts, order management, delivery integrations, analytics, and automation tools. This Policy applies to Ordexs services, websites, dashboard pages, and communications.

Merchants using Ordexs are responsible for the customer data they collect through their storefronts. Ordexs processes that customer data to provide the services requested by the merchant.

• Account information, such as name, email address, authentication provider, store name, and team settings.
• Store and business information, such as products, inventory, pricing, delivery settings, integrations, and storefront content.
• Order and customer information, such as customer name, phone number, email, address, order items, payment method, delivery status, and notes.
• Usage information, such as dashboard actions, device data, browser data, IP address, page views, sessions, referrals, and performance events.
• Integration information, such as courier account settings, marketing pixel settings, webhook configuration, and future messaging preferences.

• To create accounts, authenticate users, maintain sessions, and protect the dashboard.
• To operate merchant storefronts, carts, checkout flows, products, orders, analytics, and stock features.
• To send orders to delivery providers, refresh delivery statuses, and record shipment history.
• To provide marketing and analytics integrations when merchants enable them.
• To improve reliability, security, performance, customer support, and product quality.
• To enforce our Terms, prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and comply with legal obligations.

We share information only when needed to provide, secure, or improve the service.

• Service providers, such as hosting, database, authentication, storage, analytics, monitoring, and infrastructure providers.
• Merchant-selected integrations, such as courier companies, advertising platforms, pixels, webhooks, and messaging providers.
• Legal and safety recipients, when required by law or needed to protect Ordexs, users, customers, or the public.
• Business transfer recipients, if Ordexs is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, and performance. Merchant storefronts may also use pixels or tracking tools that the merchant enables, such as Meta or TikTok integrations.

Merchants are responsible for presenting any customer-facing cookie notices or consent flows required for their storefront and market.

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, including access controls, encrypted transport, row-level access policies, and limited access to sensitive credentials.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain business records. Some logs and analytics data may be retained for shorter periods or aggregated to reduce risk and cost.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain personal data. Merchants can update many account and store details directly in the dashboard.

Customers of a merchant should contact that merchant first for requests about orders, delivery, or storefront purchases. Ordexs can assist the merchant when appropriate.

Ordexs is designed for businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through merchant accounts.

We may update this Policy as Ordexs evolves. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as posting a notice in the product or updating the effective date.
